An expert in the behavioral implications of large-scale organizational change initiatives,
including Six Sigma, Tracy Thurkow, Ph.D., has worked with numerous Fortune 100
companies to improve their performance across a variety of challenge areas, including:
- Improving the organizational capacity to execute strategic change by embedding people-sensitive
practices into organizational change implementation activities
- Developing and
implementing training and performance measurement systems to improve customer service
and satisfaction
- Assisting executives, business leaders and project managers
in improving their leadership skills through one-on-one executive coaching and consulting

their clients through large-scale change
Tracy has assisted leaders in some of the business world’s largest and most well-known
organizations across a variety of industries, including oil and gas, telecommunications,
financial services, industrial products and package delivery.
She has also delivered a number of articles and presentations, and authored “Minimizing
Variability in Six Sigma Implementation – Behavior Is The Key,” which was featured
in Quality Progress Magazine.
Tracy earned a doctorate and master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology
with an emphasis in behavioral analysis, along with a minor in business at Auburn
University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in business
management, from Western Michigan University. She has served as an adjunct professor
in The American University’s Personnel and Human Resources Management Master’s Degree
Program, and as a guest executive instructor at Western Michigan University.
