Laura Methot, Ph.D., helps organizations hone their strategic directions and develop
performance and process management systems. She has international experience as
a consultant and performance coach to private-sector business and industry, healthcare
organizations and government agencies.
Laura’s areas of expertise include:
- Leading executive coaching, training and performance improvement initiatives
- Facilitating high-performance-team development and 100-day improvement action planning
- Designing / implementing behavior-based leadership and organizational development
systems
- Instituting programs to improve process effectiveness, change implementation and
non-value-add reduction success
She helps organizations translate strategy into effective performance and to track
performance improvements against important business outcomes. Laura also provides
support to help organizations manage their globally dispersed teams more effectively
and to execute their strategies with excellence.
Laura has been a guest reviewer for Canadian Psychology,
a journal of the Canadian Psychological Association. She has presented at conferences
for the Association of Behavior Analysis, the Atlantic Conference on Ergonomics,
the Canadian Psychological Association and the Canadian Society for Industrial and
Organizational Psychology.
Laura holds a doctorate in Applied Behavioral Analysis and a master’s degree in
industrial / organizational psychology from Western Michigan University. She earned
a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova
Scotia, where she currently is an adjunct professor.
