Karen Gorman has a proven ability to create and implement strategies that positively impact business results. Her expertise includes business strategy design and implementation, process redesign, organizational restructuring and role alignment, training strategy design and implementation, efficiency / effectiveness assessment, leadership coaching and development, change management, organizational communication, crisis management and talent management.
Karen’s petroleum industry experience includes work on a major refinery initiative to upgrade technology and enhance operations. She has consulted with refinery leaders on change management and strategic communication, on projects including value chain integration, productivity improvement and fixed-cost reduction, and provided leadership coaching for managing the change and engagement of union and non-union employees.
In addition, Karen develops business strategies for growth (in one case, more than $9 billion in 10 years), change management and customer outreach programs, and coaches team leaders in strategies to make their efforts more proficient and innovative.
Karen earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and consumer economics from the University of Delaware. She is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) and has received multiple awards for organizational effectiveness from the Public Relations Society of America.
